Oakham

A picturesque & traditional market town with a wealth of amenities including boutique independent retailers, variety of local cafes and excellent public houses. The town benefits from very highly regarded State & Private Education at both Primary & Secondary levels with further Primary Schools located within the villages around. Wednesday & Saturday are Market Days in the town and have a variety of local traders positioned within the Market Place. A Farmers Market also takes place on Goal Street every 3rd Saturday of the month. The town is also served by a well used public transport system including trains running between Peterborough & Birmingham New Street, with a daily service also to London St. Pancreas.

Uppingham

Located towards the South of Rutland sits Uppingham, also a traditional market town on a slightly smaller scale to Oakham. Uppingham has it’s own Primary & Secondary education ranging from both State Funded or Privately funded. Uppingham has a vibrant town centre with a range of local shops and well stocked supermarkets. A regular bus route provides easy access to Oakham, Corby & Stamford whilst the town is situated just moments from the useful A47 for driving access to Peterborough & Leicester.
