Situated in commuting distance of both Lincoln and Peterborough city centres, Boston offers the best of both worlds with urban living available in Boston itself as well as that “escape to the country” vibe within the more rural areas.

Boston has a range of cosy pubs and restaurants, as well as parks, a cinema and a theatre. The local market runs bi-weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays and offers a range of fresh produce. As well as the market, the town offers a range of local shops and larger retail stores. The town also benefits from the newly redeveloped Pilgrim hospital which boasts a new Accident and Emergency Department and a £4 million state of the art Intensive Care Unit.

Boston offers families a range of schools to choose from including a range of primary schools within the town and surrounding villages. It also offers an independent school, St George’s Preparatory School, for 3-11 year olds. The town has various secondary schools including selective all-boy and all-girl grammar schools, Boston Grammar School and Boston High School.

Transport Links

Boston benefits from a good road network, with the A52 and A16 running through the town, allowing easy access to other main roads such as the A17 & A15, amongst others. The town is also served by East Midlands Trains on the Poacher Line from Grantham to Skegness. Lincoln and Peterborough are the closest cities and are approximately 35 miles away.

The lettings market has been very strong for a number of years, with average rents increasing due to the huge demand locally. Prices start from approx. £350 pcm for a small flat, through to £1500 pcm for larger detached properties. Turnover is also high, meaning that properties are rarely empty for any length of time.
