About Leicester
Leicester is an ancient city with a proud history stretching back over 2,000 years and which today offers a special blend of ancient and modern. Situated in the heart of the country it has good rail links and is on the mainline from London St Pancras to Sheffield and Nottingham.
Leicester’s sheer diversity is one of the many things that make the city so exciting and vibrant with festivals taking place throughout the year providing a unique opportunity to experience so many of the worlds cultures. From Dave’s comedy festival at the beginning of the year, the Caribbean Carnival in the summer and the largest Diwali celebrations outside India in the Autumn, there is always something going on to keep you entertained.
The recent discovery of King Richard III in the city has brought another dimension to the city with thousands of people coming to visit the exhibition at the impressive fourteenth century timber framed Guildhall. We also have the award winning National Space Centre; its rocket dominates the city skyline and is home to the UK’s largest 360 degree planetarium.
Leicester boasts an exciting arts and cultural scene with theatre ballet, fine dining and dancing, live music, comedy and cinema. At its heart is the Cultural Quarter – the place where it all happens – an area rich with history and heritage plus an array of great bars and restaurants. Here you’ll find the award-winning Curve theatre and the innovative Phoenix film and digital media centre.
The city has a diverse and exciting array of restaurants from all corners of the globe. Leicester is famous for its curries, with the famous Golden Mile playing host to some of the most exquisite Asian cuisine available. Leicester’s award-winning covered market has been on the same site for more than 700 years and is the largest in Europe offering a great selection of fresh foods including fish and meat.
Leicester has a successful sporting heritage with professional clubs in football, rugby, cricket, basketball, speedway and hockey. We’re a sporting city where nurture and development is at the heart, where home grown talent includes the likes of Gary Lineker, Peter Shilton, Emile Heskey and Mark Selby. Leicester is also the only UK city to stage the Special Olympics twice in 1989 and 2009.

The lettings market in Leicester is extremely competitive and very fast paced. The Leicester branch has over 30 years of expertise in this field and is conveniently situated right in the city centre! We pride ourselves in the hundreds of satisfied landlords we have, who completely rely on our services, which don’t just stop at finding suitable tenants. We arrange all viewings. We prepare fully documented and photographed inventories. We carry out routine inspections, also checking essential things like drains, brickwork, roofs, windows, gardens as, well as, of course, how your tenants are keeping the property inside. Whether it’s a “Find a Tenant Only” service or a fully managed package, your property is our priority!
Advice For Tenants
Our tenants are equally important to us and we have many tenants that have rented from us for over 10 years! We always strive to find the right property to match the tenants’ needs and are always on hand to explain what is required and needed to make the process as easy as possible. We cater for a whole range of tenants from international students, professionals, executives and families who return to us time and time again. Of course, being city centre based we see a steady stream of new tenants on a daily basis and are always able to assist them in their needs.
